Whether you live in Central, Clemson, Liberty, or the surrounding areas, our church is easy to find. We are conveniently located at 120 Pepper St., in Central, SC.
Knowing Where To Go
We have special parking directly up front for our first time visitors. We also have greeters at the main auditorium doors that will assist you to the appropriate class, childcare area, or service.
Please stop by our Welcome Center in the church lobby to receive guest information or assistance.
Pre-Service Planning
You should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before service begins to get acquainted with our facility. At every service, there will be safe childcare for your children, and children’s church services. Our Children’s Church program goes through the 6th grade. All of our children’s workers have passed background checks to provide age appropriate ministry to your family.
How should I dress?
You will see people dressed in a variety of different ways. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable; so please, come as you are.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No, we want our service to be a gift to you. You will find at our church that we have a warm, family atmosphere that offers help from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel obligated to participate in the offering as a guest.
What To Expect
First, expect a grace-centered environment. You don't have to have it "all together" in order to fit in. Cannon is filled with regular, every day people who have struggles and are in need of guidance in all areas of life. You don't have to worry about being different or being evaluated by others. We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life who find unity in Jesus Christ.
Second, expect a gospel-focused environment. Our ministry is not defined by pointless tradition or preferential issues. Our focus is the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it changes lives in this culture.
Third, expect a Christ-honoring environment. The audience of worship is Jesus Christ, not man. At Cannon, our services are filled with meaningful worship. Our music consists of both contemporary and traditional songs. Our Worship Team consists of piano, guitar, keys, drums, bass guitar, and singer soloists. You can expect to hear a mix of newer contemporary music and hymns that never grow old. The Bible messages are simple, scriptural, and applicable to everyday life.
Sunday Services
We offer Sunday school classes for all ages, nursery through senior saints. Sunday school classes are a great way to connect on a small group level with individuals in the same season of life as you. All classes begin at 10:00am.
Our morning worship services begin at 8:30am & 10:45am. From start to finish our services are usually about an hour.
Wednesday Service
The Wednesday night Service is a mid-week service designed to equip believers with teachings of prayer and to spend time passionately seeking the face of God. Pastor Jeff Barrett, our teaching pastor, leads these services and brings a Bible message that will encourage you for the rest of your week!
The Wednesday services also include CannonKids Grow (ages 4 years-6th grade) and Ignite Youth Ministry (7th-12th grade).
Children begin at 6:30pm with a meal and games and adults start at 7:00pm.
